It is hard to express how elated I felt after witnessing Zac and Katrina's wedding.
And Yes I cried, at both the ceremony and when Stella and Lucy gave their wedding toast.
It happened on a beautiful sunny day right outside of Salem NY. They had the ceremony under a huge Sycamore tree, by an old abandoned marble mill and a stream. Zac made the invitations, buffet structure and wedding arches using a few of the artistic tools of his trade, printing, milled wood and welded metal.
Katrina used her many talents: making the cakes, flowers, a lot of the food, and napkins.
We had lots of helpers in setting up the tent, tables and chairs.
Zac's father, Chris - Zac's half brother, Christian, - Chris's wife, Bea - Zac and me.
Brian, one of Zac's oldest friends (used to play together as kids and surf and work together as teens)

We did insert a little "southern" into the wedding - the pigs were slathered up with a lot of our "Southern Soul" BBQ sauce.
Even though the distance was a challenge for many - we had a good turnout of Zac's friends and family.
